Guided tour of the open-air museum Hägnan

Every Tuesday-Thursday from June 23-August 13. At 1 PM in Swedish and 2 PM in English. The guided tour takes approximately 60 minutes and can be booked in Swedish or English. We gather outside the Country Store at the open-air museum Hägnan.

Travel back in time and explore life in the old farming community of Luleå parish! During this guided tour, we visit two historic farmhouses that reflect different eras and living conditions – life on a prosperous farm in the 1880s and the lite as a crofter in the late 18th Century. During the guided tour you get to bow your head in the low doorway and step into the semi-darkness in the croft. You will see where the food was stored in times of self-sufficiency and visit Hägnan's large Norrbotten farmhouse.
