Welcome to spend the winter break with us at the open-air museum Hägnan and Visitor Center in the church town of Gammelstad
On April 8-10, it's time for Easter break activities at the open-air museum Hägnan and Gammelstad Visitor Center. Don't miss the opportunity to try crafts with church town themes, bread baking and participate in a colorful Easter witch parade!
Hägnan's Easter activities April 8-10:
- 12 PM- 3 PM Bread baking in the Peri-Hanscha farmhouse (20 SEK/child).
- 12 PM–3 PM Crafts with church town themes in the lodge (Gårdshuset).
- 12 PM-3 PM Meet the Easter bunny Göran, who is preparing for a youth weekend in the church town and has lost his church cottage key.
- 12 PM-3 PM The Country Store is open.
- 11 AM-3 PM Café Fägnan is open.
Easter witch parade April 10
On Friday April 10 at 1 PM we have our yearly Easter witch parade. The parade starts at Hägnan's parking lot (by the boat silhouette). Feel free to dress up and join! No pre-booking is required.
Visitor Center's Easter activities April 8-10:
- Crafting at the exhibition, 12 PM-4 PM.
- Quiz walk in the church town, 12 PM-4 PM.
- Drama tour for children "Musilda's missing mice family" (age approx. 3-6). Wednesday at 2 PM. In Swedish.
- Drama tour for children "1000 years to Gammelstad" (age approx. 7-11). Thursday at 2 PM. In Swedish.
All activities are free of charge, no pre-booking required. Welcome!
